You are a member of the Guemes Island Community Center Association (GICCA) just by the fact that you have chosen to reside on Guemes Island. Our Community Center has been an island gathering place for over 100 years. Many island events are sponsored by GICCA and take place at our Community Center.
We encourage you to settle in and become an active participant in our island community. We look forward to meeting you and hope that you will grow to love, respect, and preserve Guemes Island.
The purpose of the Guemes Island Community Center Association is to promote the educational, recreational, and social welfare of Guemes Islanders.
Mission: To support environmental and economic sustainability within our community while supporting island non-profit groups and projects.
Second Century Vision
Mission: To explore the possible expansion of the community center, how it may be used in the future, and what changes might need to be made to serve future residents of Guemes Island.
GICCA is governed by a set of bylaws that are reviewed and updated every 5 years. To read, please download.
